15th anniversary celebration of Manitoba’s Indigenous entrepreneurs – UM Today

October 21, 2019 —

Since 2005, the I.H. Asper School of Business has profiled and celebrated the achievements of Indigenous entrepreneurs at the VIBE Awards – one of Manitoba’s most prestigious events honouring Indigenous business leaders.

This year’s event, taking place on November 7th at the Fort Garry Hotel, marks the 15th anniversary of the awards celebration to recognize the impact made on the Manitoba business community by the award recipients. Our 2019 VIBE award recipients are Troy McLennan of HUB Technology Solutions and Angie Zachary of BeYOUTee School, Factory & Bar.

For over 25 years, HUB Technology Solutions has grown to provide professional information technology consulting and project management services to small and medium sized businesses in Canada and the United States.

Through McLennan’s leadership, HUB has grown from a modest two-person operation to a strong, dynamic organization with over 20 employees and more than 100 active clients throughout Manitoba, Canada, and the US.
