New export advisor hired to help province’s Indigenous businesses – Kamloops This Week

The program began as a pilot project, but was made permanent this past April and expanded to include new export advisors dedicated to supporting Indigenous-owned businesses

A Tk’emlups-based business consultant will be a dedicated advisor to Indigenous entrepreneurs across B.C. in reaching new markets.

Daphane Nelson is serving as export advisor for Indigenous businesses, offering export planning services for Indigenous small businesses through the Export Navigator program.

She will help Indigenous business owners determine their export readiness, identify new markets and navigate logistics, customs certifications and other export requirements.
