A recent survey by Corporate Research Associates could be disheartening if taken at face value. It found low awareness among Nova Scotians of the 2013 One Nova Scotia Report and a perceived lack of progress against its goals.
Despite waning of the initial wave of public recognition and engagement with the report, there is cause for great encouragement. Positive things are happening across Nova Scotia in many of the ‘game-changing’ key action areas prescribed by the report.
One is significant growth in population, driven by improved immigration rates, foundational to economic prosperity and social development in urban centres and rural communities.
