Farm income, 2018
The realized net farm income of agricultural producers fell 45.1% in 2018 to $3.9 billion, the largest percentage decrease since 2006. This followed a 2.8% decline in 2017.
Farm cash receipts, first quarter 2019
Farm cash receipts for Canadian farmers totalled $15.9 billion in the first quarter, up 3.1% from the same quarter in 2018.

Canadian residents made 72.3 million trips in Canada and abroad in the fourth quarter of 2018, spending $17.2 billion.

Travellers from abroad made 6.2 million trips to Canada in the fourth quarter of 2018, up 1.1% from the fourth quarter of 2017, spending an estimated $3.9 billion.
Food services and drinking places, March 2019
On a seasonally adjusted basis, sales in the food services and drinking places subsector increased 1.2% to $6.2 billion in March. Higher sales were reported in limited-service restaurants (+1.9%), full-service restaurants (+1.0%) and drinking places (+1.0%). Sales decreased in special food services (-1.8%).
