Women’s Career Development Summit Coming to Toronto

TORONTO, ONTARIO–(Sept. 9, 2014) – The Women In Leadership (WIL) Foundation is proud to announce the inaugural TD WIL to Succeed: Women’s Career Development Summit on Thursday, October 2nd in Toronto. This half-day summit, to be held at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel, aims to provide leadership development experience with access to leadership experts, coaches and educational resources to provide the knowledge and tools to maximize women’s leadership potential.

This year’s theme is ‘How to be a Great Leader’ and is expected to attract 300 guests comprised of senior managers, middle managers and high potential women looking to grow, enhance their potential and being their best. Featured workshop speakers include:

  • Dr. Joti Samra, a high-profile innovator in the area of psychological health and wellness in the workplace.
  • Janet Kestin and Nancy Vonk, co-founders of Swim, a leadership lab noted for its creative, unconventional approach to leadership training.

Founded in 2001, WIL is Canada’s largest charity organization advancing women’s leadership and empowering the next generation. “This conference will provide women with the opportunity to learn from industry experts and business leaders as well as interact and network with key industry sponsors of the TD WIL to Succeed Summit. Along with its leadership development programs, WIL offers a dynamic six-month mentorship program that matches young professional women with business executives.
